Link2Files is making a comeback
Basically Link2Files is a free, simple way to transfer files, up to 250mb in size and with no sign-up either.
Yes I know there are plenty out there, but originally the site was set up for a few designer friends who used it to send files to clients and vise versa. Since taking down the service I’ve had quite a few emails asking why and will it be back? So the fool in me has decided to put it back online.
This time around there is going to be an added feature, the option to send a file to a mobile phone (image, mp3). There is also going to be a mobile (small screen) version of the site, allowing you to send a file from your mobile device to either an email recipient or another mobile user (via sms)
As of yet there isn’t a live date, I’m currently working on other projects which pay the bill’s, so as you can imagine they take priority. There is a sign up option to be notified as to when the site goes live, I’m working to have the site up within the month.
Just to add I am considering adding some small (and I mean small) Ads to the site i.e. Google Ads, just to see if I can recuperate some of the costs. I doubt they will generate much income but its better then nothing.
