Exciting Times

After 8.5 years working for this company as their in-house designer I’m finally moving on! Sad but relieved.

On the 20th September I shall be heading up a new design service for Sigma Freight Systems. Sigma build desktop applications for the freight & marine industry my role will be to help with the implementation of their applications on to the web, as well as offering a design service.

Primary I shall be working from home with the odd visit up to the Cambridge office (beer session with the guys, also known as meetings).

For now the design side of the business will trade under Sigma Freight, but eventually branch off to stand on its own two feet as a separate company and brand.

I’m pretty excited as already we have a number of clients patiently lined up waiting for me to come on board. The to-do list has already had a number of items added to it! One of which is a re-design of their own site :)

So freelancing! Will I continue?
To start with no! As this is a new service to Sigma Freight I’m wanting to get in as much business as I can to make it work, any approaches will be directed to Sigma.

As I said, exciting times! Well for me anyway.
